Study Related Settings
Site Name – The name of the study or project which is displayed on the top left corner of every pages except when attempting questionnaires where the top navigation is hidden from view. This name is also appended to the end of every page
<title> separated by a pipe symbol |.
Site Description – A short summary (e.g. research objectives) on what the study or project is about. This is represented by a Bootstrap glyphicon (info-sign), the ‘i’ icon beside study name using Bootstrap Popovers.
Email Address From – An all-purpose email address for outgoing emails sent from ClinDATC. Plugin developers may call and use this email if their plugins involve any emailing component (e.g. sending notifications to participants).
New Account Activation – Require email verification is usually selected if the study is conducted remotely (e.g. participants attempt questionnaires in the homes) or when the coordinators prefer to pass the account management responsibilities (password recovery) to participants. Skip email verification is selected if all participants come to you (e.g. attempt questionnaires using your lab workstations) or when email is not obtainable.
Questionnaires Display (to participants) – 4 display types are available: Sequential (One by One), Sequential (All), Random (One by One), Random (All)
- Sequential (One by One) – Questionnaires are displayed from top (lowest 0) to bottom (highest number) according the the order number specified during questionnaires creation (within Developer Tools). Participants can only attempt the next questionnaire only if he/she completed the one before (above) it.
- Sequential (All) – Display order is similar to Sequential (One by One). However, participants can attempt all questionnaires in any order (e.g. attempt last questionnaire first followed by the mid questionnaire).
- Random (One by One) – Questionnaires does not take the order number (specified within Developer Tools) into consideration and instead are randomly ordered. Participants can only attempt the next questionnaire only if he/she completed the one before (above) it.
- Random (All) – Display order is similar to Random (One by One). However, participants can attempt all questionnaires in any order (e.g. attempt first questionnaire followed by the last questionnaire).
